This process represents knowing the organization’s efficiency in carrying out its activities and effectiveness in achieving its goals. In addition, we used the Data Envelopment Analysis method (DEA), one of the most important quantitative methods in evaluating how a set of similar units performed, based on quantifying their efficiency level using a set of inputs and outputs. This study applied to the University of Chlef as a model for a service institution. The data for the 2017-2018 university season were used. Two DEA models (CCR & BCC) have been employed with output orientation. The results showed that out of 10 faculties in the University of Chlef, only two (the faculty of civil and architectural engineering and the faculty of humanities and social sciences) could make the whole efficiency level. This reflects their good performance, which qualifies them to be a reference for the rest of the faculties to improve their performance level and the best use of its resources.</p>}, number={2}, journal={Management & Economics Research Journal}, author={Ziani, Zahra and Boudia, Fatma}, year={2019}, month={Jun.}, pages={73-87} }
