Editorial Board Roles
Associate editors handle papers assigned by the Editor In Chief with the assistance of reviewers selected according to their field of relevant expertise. The Associate editors will then reach a decision based on the reviewers reports and will make a recommendation to the Editor In Chief. They may also recommend the up-front rejection of unsuitable or scarcely relevant papers.
The role of the Editorial Advisory Board is to provide input, suggestions and specialized scientific support in Journal management, acting occasionally as Guest Associate Editor for specific papers or Guest Editor for special thematic issues, proposing opinion papers, editorials or reviews and acting as reviewers for problematic/controversial papers. In conjunction with the other components of the Editorial Board, the Editorial Advisory Board members will act as ambassadors for Management & Economics Research Journal throughout the technical and scientific community.
